3 permanent contract Teaching Assistant Vacancies for Nursery, starting ASAP in January 2026

In our 2 and 3 year old provision, we are seeking 2 additional members of staff to expand our existing team.  Due to pupil numbers increasing during each academic year, the successful applicants will be permanently contracted to work 20 hours each week during term time plus additional hours in the easter and summer holidays.  As pupil numbers increase through the year, the number of hours will also increase and from January 2026 until Easter, the two successful applicants will be required to work 25 hours each week which.  This will further increase for the summer term.

In our 3 and 4 year old provision, we are seeking 1 permanently contracted outstanding TA to join our existing team, working 32.5 hours, 8:30am – 3:30pm each day, term time only.

Landywood Primary School is a “Good School” (Ofsted 2022) seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistants/apprentice to support our expanding Nursery provision.

The salary for the 2 members of staff working in the 2 and 3 year old provision will         be £13.05 per hour (Grade 3 scale point 4). Apprentices are paid in accordance with the National Apprenticeship Wage.

The salary for staff member working in our 3 and 4 year old provision will be £13.05 per hour (Grade 3 scale point 4), equating to £16,541 annual salary.
