Feedback from parents

Reception parent - I would just like to say a big thank you to you and your staff for working so hard and doing an incredible job under such difficult circumstances. My child is currently in reception and as you can appreciate we were somewhat apprehensive about sending him back. However your leadership and you and your staff's dedication has made the experience easier and more positive for us parents and our children.

I think you and the school have done an amazing job.

Thank you,

Year 1 parent -  I would just like to thank you and your staff for making Tillies first week back at school in the keyworker group so enjoyable. I was worried how she would transition back into school routine with having so long off and it has gone absolutely amazing and she's has come home every evening excited telling me everything that she has been doing at school. Also thankyou for letting my husband collect Tillie earlier than 6pm, you have been very accomodating with this, again I just want to thank you all.

Year 1 parent - I just wanted to send an email to say a massive thank you for everything staff are doing to ensure a safe reopening on 1st June. The amount of work that has gone into planning is phenomenal and I wanted to express my gratitude to all staff for your dedication to doing your best for the pupils under such pressurised circumstances, and for providing so much information to enable parents to make an informed choice about sending children back to school. Anya will be back on the 1st of June as I trust you to do your very best under the circumstances, you have my full support.

Additionally I just wanted to say thank you for all the work you have compiled and sent out each day for home learning. Although I've not been able to get through absolutely everything every day, Anya has found the work engaging and enjoyable and hopefully this will make the return to school easier

Year 4 & Year 1 Parent - A massive well done for the last 8 weeks!!! This statement does not sum up the efforts  you and your staff will have undertaken in this ever changing educational climate. A massive thank you from our household for everything that you have done and are continuing to do to "keep in touch."

Year 6 parent - Good afternoon. We just wanted to say a massive thank you for you beautiful poem. It meant more than you will ever know. The words really mean a lot to us and brought a tear to my eye.

You have all been an amazing support throughout this uncertain time and have made things just that little bit normal for us.

I really hope Luke gets the opportunity to return to Landywood and finish his primary school journey with an amazing team who have always delivered above and beyond because they truly care. You really are a team who are second to none and should be so proud of yourselves.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Here is the poem school sent to our Year 6 children

Year 2 parent -‘Can I just say a thank you for the excellent communication through all of this. As a school you've handled this amazingly to make sure the children do not miss out. Well done all.’

Year 4 parent- “I want to personally share my thanks and gratitude to you and all the wonderful staff at landywood for supporting key workers throughout this difficult time. Fortunately at the moment I have been able to continue working from home and rob has been going into the workplace so we have not required the provision. I was really impressed with the offer of provisions for nhs and emergency service staff on the bank holidays. Thank you once again, your effort and assistance had not gone unrecognised.”

"Thank you all so much for the most amazing, colourful and beautiful paintings you all sent in for the staff and patients at Walsall Palliative Care centre.

The pictures were shared between the St Giles In Patient Unit and the Palliative Care Services within the building and are making our walls and doors look beautiful!

They are definitely bringing a smile to everyone who sees them and are appreciated so much!

Thank you all, you talented little stars! "
